Spectranet is the 1st private network convergence services
provider in India. Incorporated on April 20, 1995, it launched
services in September 2000 the 1st private company in South
East Asia with a live “commissioned” network of
Optic Fiber cable (OFC). The Company operates through its
head Office in Delhi and Branch offices
in Bangalore and Mumbai. |
Spectranet
is ISO 9001: & ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified and holds
All India 'Category A' Internet services provider and Level-1
infrastructure provider licenses. It owns and operates Fiber
optic duct and networks in Delhi & NCR, Bangalore and
Chandigarh and provides services across the country through
interconnections. |

internet, Internet data centre, managed optic fiber build
out and maintenance, Cable TV Solutions, CAS TV & Value

Spectranet's
technology partners are world leaders in their respective
fields of service/ product design and delivery. Spectranet
delivers customer centric services using systems and equipment
provided by technology leaders like General Instruments, Sun
Microsystems, Compaq, Lucent Technologies, Juniper and Cisco
Systems. |
Spectranet
is continuously upgrading itself to face the challenges of
the very fast changing technological environment. The robust
OFC network is expanding fast to cover new sites and establish
additional Points of Presence. It has launched the Wi Fi (Wireless
Fidelity) & Wi Max Broadband, using radio waves, enabling
provision of ready to use internet without wires at Hot Spots
like Hotels, Education centers, Hospitals etc. The WiMax technology
is easy to deploy, delivers Non LOS services from a base station
to subscribers and is used to fill up the dark area zones.
It has also deployed Metro Ethernet equipment for 1000 Mb
ring giving increased capacity and higher uptime due to failover
ring architecture. |

has built out several hundred kilometers of Fiber based
IP Network Covering Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Chandigarh.
It has also recently deployed 1000Mb Metro Ethernet
ring. This High quality network with redundant capabilities
